The Nigerian Gas Company’s leadership and employees are committed to continually improving the effectiveness of our Quality Management System (TQM) and value adding processes for the supply of on-specification gas that meets or exceeds the requirement of our current and future customers through the involvement of a highly skilled and motivated human resources.
OUR QUALITY OBJECTIVES
1. Commitment to continually improving the effectiveness of NGC’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Institutionalize a methodology for proactively identifying and managing small step and strategic improvement projects.
- Institutionalize the use of the corrective and preventive action tool through acquiring competence in root cause analysis and problem solving techniques, using internal audit results painstakingly and allocating resources to most important improvement opportunities.
2. Commitment to continually improve value-adding processes
Periodically review and re-engineer processes used to deliver dry natural Gas to customers.
3. Commitment to the supply of on-specification Gas that meets the requirements of current and future customers.
- Determine, develop and implement maintenance methods that would ensure that available infrastructure continues to meet NGC needs to deliver on-specification product to current and future customers.
- Establish mutually acceptable processes for communicating effectively and efficiently with customers about their needs and expectations.
- Periodically evaluate the adequacy of and provide infrastructure needed to deliver on-specification natural Gas to customers.
- Expand Gas supplier sources and aggressively market natural Gas as a superior alternative energy source to maintain leadership position in the Gas industry.
4. Involvement of a highly skilled and motivated human resource.
- Evaluate the present, and provide the expected, competence of the human resource to meet future demands related to strategic and operational objectives and goals of NGC.
- Acquire competence in evaluating the impact of training and other interventions on skills acquisition by the human resource.
- Evaluate employee well-being and satisfaction periodically.
